Their hands-on approach and deep commitment to ethical and sustainable farming make them the heart and soul of Knockvicar Alpaca Farm.

Andrew is actively involved with Farming for Nature, teaches the National Organic Training Skillnet (NOTS) Organic Production Principles Course, and works as a farm advisor and planner.
Angela Chilton
Co-Owner
Angela plays a vital role in the daily operations of the farm, contributing to its success as a family-run business. Angela deals with all bookings and scheduling of appointments and oversees the rental of Knockvicar House.

Located near the stunning Lough Key, the farm is home to a thriving herd of alpacas, as well as diverse wildlife, orchards, and carefully nurtured green spaces.
Owners Andrew and Angela Chilton, along with their four children Antonio, Rosie, Joe, and Malachy pour their passion and expertise into every aspect of the farm, ensuring that it operates with the highest ethical and environmental standards.

Our farm also features an apiary, producing delicious local honey, and an orchard with apples and plums, all cultivated without harmful chemicals.
